Allison Stainton, LCSW

Allison Stainton is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working with individuals and families in Hillsborough County for the past twelve years. Allison grew up in the Tampa Bay Area and attended college and graduate school at Florida State University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in psychology and her master’s degree in social work. Upon graduation, she returned to the Tampa Bay Area in hopes of giving back to her community.

Allison has experience working with children and families as well as adults. She has extensive experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and their family members. In addition, she has facilitated support groups for caregivers of both older adults/seniors with memory disorders as well as medically complex children with special healthcare needs. She has also worked with many families who are grieving the loss of a child.

Allison specializes in working with individuals suffering from trauma, grief, anxiety, depression and, more specifically, postpartum depression. She frequently utilizes strength-based practice to help her clients succeed at achieving their treatment goals.

Angela Ostrander, PsyD, LMFT, LMHC

Angela Ostrander has been working as a therapist for over 12 years and has been helping individuals and couples in Hillsborough County for over 7 years. She earned a Masters degree in Psychology and a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Saybrook University in San Francisco, California and completed a graduate certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of South Florida in Tampa. She is constantly pursuing more education to help with the needs of her clients and recently obtained Gottman Couples Training.

Her passion is working with individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, or managing life struggles. Her preferred methods of counseling includes Person-Centered, Solution Focused Brief, and Emotionally Focused Counseling. She enjoys seeing individuals grow and evolve and learn how to make themselves better. She wants to see all of her clients succeed and grow more successful with time.

april johnson, lmhc

April is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor from Texas where she graduated from University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science. She moved to Florida six years ago and  completed her master's degree at the University of South Florida in Mental Health Counseling. She has been working with children for 15 years as a prior teacher and school counselor.

April is dedicated to helping clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, self- esteem, and behavioral concerns. She provides a welcoming place where clients can openly share and reach their goals.

April has a six year-old son. Her family enjoys the beach, amusement parks, and biking.
